I created Uniq Wellness as a coaching vehicle to show, inspire and empower people to hit that wellness mark!

My coaching programs focus on Dynamic & Sustainable Weight Loss and Uniq Steps to Healthy Aging. Each is designed to help clients unlock new energy, weight loss, mental clarity, self confidence, and the all important ability to minimize dependency on pharmaceutical drugs with superior nutrition and meaningful lifestyle changes.
MY PERSONAL JOURNEY
I’m a certified holistic health and life coach, motivational speaker, and television reporter. How did I get to this stage in life? FEAR!
When I was a teenager I was diagnosed with eczema—a condition that affects approximately 20% of children and 3% of adults in the U.S. After years of insecurity, I learned that improved nutrition could actually help cure my condition. And it did!
From that moment on, I realized what we eat affects our blood, which affects our skin and the rest of our body.
Later in life, I watched chronic illnesses and cancer take my father’s life. Reverend James Franklin Ingram’s body was held hostage. His eating habits were poor, fitness was absent, his body deteriorated and misery set in. I held his hand and kissed his forehead as he took his last breath.
That was 2009–the moment I decided to empower others as a health coach.
SPECIALIZED TRAINING IN INTEGRATIVE NUTRITION
My journey into health coaching started with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) in New York City, the largest nutritional school world-wide. It’s at IIN where I studied more than 100 dietary theories and the various lifestyle components that form the holistic approach to wellness.
My education continued through Cornell University’s Plant Based Nutrition program in Ithaca, NY, where I studied Nutrition Fundamentals and Disease of Afﬂuence. I studied under the guidance of world renowned biochemist, researcher and professor, Dr. T. Colin Campbell.
While a health coach, I still enjoy a vibrant career as a television reporter at WTAE-TV.
